HOW LONG DO THE COMPETENCIES TAKE PER PERSON?

This depends on the services the facility provides. The average competency per person is about an hour because we require return demonstration in addition to a series of questions to gauge the staff knowledge of the process, policies, procedures and current standards of practice.

FOR EDUCATION, CAN YOU DO A GROUP RATE OR DO YOU CHARGE FOR EACH PERSON?

We can do either or depending on the facility’s needs.

AFTER THE ASSESSMENTS ARE DONE, WILL YOU CONTINUE TO PROVIDE SUPPORT?

Absolutely! You are not just a client to us. Our mission is to build long lasting partnerships and a network of professionals who are passionate about patient safety and quality of care.

DO YOU HAVE TEMPLATES AND FORMS WE CAN USE FOR OUR PROCESSES?

Yes, we can also customize forms to fit your specific needs.

CAN YOU WRITE OR REVISE OUR POLICIES SO WE MEET THE STANDARDS?

DO YOU PROVIDE ON-SITE ORIENTATION, TRAINING AND ON-BOARDING OF NEW HIRES?

We do provide on-site orientation, on-boarding and training for our existing partnerships. If we have not visited your facility and you are interested in using our services, please contact us.

WHAT CREDENTIALS AND QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU HAVE?

All consultants are located in New Jersey therefore, are certified (by law) with many years of experience, knowledge, and background in surgical services, dental clinics, specialty surgery centers, eye surgery, plastics, orthopedics, spine, and endoscopy practices.

DO YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF NJ?

Yes. Most of our partners are located North and South of the East Coast, however, we would love to build relationships in the central and western part of the country.

HOW DOES YOUR TEAM MAINTAIN COMPETENCY AND PROFICIENCY?

To keep our credentials, we are required by the NJ State Department of Health and Human services, to follow the AAMI National Standards as our regulatory body. Our team is required to attend seminars, hands-on training and workshops throughout the year to keep our skills and expertise top notch.

HOW MANY STATES REQUIRE CERTIFICATION?

As of 2022, there are 4 states that now require certification: New JerseyConnecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee, however, The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) was accepted by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). This means that the AAMI document is the standard of practice that should be used and followed by all medical device reprocessing professionals through the country and if not followed, AAMI can be used in a court of law.
